Vintage CHANEL 1986-88 Medium Beige Caviar Leather Timeless Classic Flap Bag
We have recently be fortunate enough to acquire a large estate collection of designer items, many of which are vintage Chanel and include jewelry, clothing, shoes, and bags. PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY AT THE DESCRIPTION AND IMAGES FOR DETAILED CONDITION. Offered here is a rare 1986-88 beige caviar leather medium timeless classic flap bag. It has turnlock closure on the outermost flap and snap closure on the secondary interior flap. The interior has the iconic three sections with small center lipstick opening, single zip pocket and large open pocket, the back section having a single large slide pocket.
The main section has tag with serial number "0600628". The bag measures 6.3" x 10" x 3" and has a 9.5" strap drop (when doubled). The bag has quilted surface with signs of wear in the form of gentle creasing to the leather, a couple dark marks on the back (highlighted in final image), and wearing of the leather at the lower corners. There is some stickiness and transfer to the inner slide pockets (shown) indicative of age and storage.
Proper cleaning is highly recommended to bring this iconic classic bag back to its original brilliance. Local pick-up is also an option free of charge. And/or can no longer be tracked.
