Perfume bottle in molded and gilded glass, models "with bees" by Guerlain. Bearing the Imperial Water label with coat of arms on a green background. Marked below Guerlain made in france and with the label of the distributor A shine at the base. H: 19 cm D: 8 cm. Imperial water is the first eau de cologne from Maison Guerlain.

It was created in 1853 for Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III by Pierre François Pascal Guerlain. This special order was initially placed by the Empress to relieve her migraines, and earned PFP Guerlain the title of "Patented Perfumer of Her Majesty". A few years after its creation, Eugénie authorizes its marketing. The bottle with bees recalls the symbols of the Empire and bears the coat of arms chosen by Napoleon: the eagle, the scepter and the imperial crown. Today the perfume is still marketed, the bottle still has its bees and the imperial symbols in a more modern version.
